Ini lagu yang gue lagi demen banget. Dengerin lagu ini selalu bikin gue pengin nangis. Kayaknya yang nulis ini beneran lagi desperately in love, tapi gak kesampaian..huhuhu...
Nyanyiinnya pakai gitar, lagi camping, (kayak film Rano Karno aja..haahhaha) sementara cewek yang dipujanya duduk diseberangnya ngeliatin..huhuhu..... beneran kebanyakan nonton film Rano Karno- Yessy Gusman jaman dulu nich gue...:-)

I did it for myself

What is wrong with the statement?. Why it seemed so many people afraid of using those words?. Is it because, when you say it, people will think you are such a self centered with big ego human being? And what is wrong with that? was it that bad?

How about a mother, who dedicate herself to her family, do everything her best for them, and yet still need something to feed her soul, something that makes her feel proud of herself, for her own achievement as a human being. Is it bad?
Is it bad if we want something for ourselves? (Please dont read this in the wrong direction..it's not about WIL or PIL :-) )

Family is one big achievement. Being a mother is a wonderful job for most of the women in the world. Watching the kids growing day by day, fullfilling all their need are certainly give us more contempt of ourselves.

But is it wrong when we still need something for ourself? Something more, "for me". for "myself". "My own 'label'". Not as my husband's wife, or my kid's moms. As Me.

In my book, it is Ok if you want something for yourself. But it is also fine if you don't want something more for yourself. Lucky you!. Because I believe so many people wanted something for themselves but are afraid to say so. They just hiding because they were afraid people would think they are silly.

The first rule of everything. Do not lie to yourself. You can lie to other people, but try to be true to yourself. Try to reach whatever dream you have, as long as do it the right way. And keep in mind, family first, cause I know you do not want things going bad when you catch your dream..:-).

First of all...happy new year everyone...hehehe..telat banget gak sich...:-)
Emang aseli telat banget sich, cuma better late than never ya.....
Mudah2an tahun ini membawa berkah kebahagiaan, kesuksesan, kelancaran segala usaha, segala urusan dan menjadi gerbang keberhasilan buat tahun2 berikutnya buat kita semua. Amin...

Banyak banget yang gue mau ceritain, things I was doing since the beginning of this year til today. Tapi kayaknya banyak banget, jadi mending gue persingkat aja ya....
1. Akhirnya gue dan teman2 sesama founder indieperle bersepakat untuk membuka webshop untuk produk aksesori kita, yang sekarang ini udah bisa dikunjungi, belum 100 persen resmi buka, cuma udah aktif beroperasi. Silahkan tengok-tengok shop indieperle di http://shop.indieperle.com

Pengumuman lain, insya Allah buku ke 2 gue bakalan keluar sebelum tengah tahun ini.
Buat teman2 yang udah sempat nengok/baca or even membeli buku pertama gue, buku ke 2 gue ini ada beberapa teknik baru yang gue tambahin, ngelengkapin buku pertama, jadi...jangan sampai gak beli ya...heehhe...

Terus juga, menjawab pertanyaan teman2 disini tentang Workshop, insya Allah akan diadakan Workshop tentang bead jewelry making ini, tunggu aja kabarnya di sini ya...:-)

Berita lainnya, masih seputar bead jewelry karya gue, insya Allah salah satu karya gue yang lain bakalan di muat lagi di majalah Amrik 'beadstyle magazine' tahun ini. Projeknya masih gue rahasia-in dan tanggalnya juga masih dibuat 'open'.

Selain itu, 'Wire Bouquet' gue, yang tahun lalu di muat di edisi September 2005 'Beadstyle Magazine' bakalannya masuk publikasi lain. Insya Allah bulan April tahun ini bakalan jadi salah satu projek di "BeadStyle booklet Rings & Brooches" keluaran Kalmbach Publishing dan baru aja gue dapat kabar bahwa projek 'Wire Bouquet' gue itu juga kepilih untuk jadi salah satu projeknya Beads, Baubles, and Jewels, a step-by-step show on PBS (an American TV station) to which BeadStyle and Bead&Button contribute..
Jadwal tayangnya masih sekitar akhir summer tahun ini, tapi mereka sedang siap2 untuk shoot bulan ini.

So, berhubung gue gak di Amrik, kayaknya kalau ada teman2 di Amrik yang berbaik hati mau ngerekamin...boleh juga tuh..hehehehe :-)

Apa lagi ya....

Oh iya, beberapa karya gue ada di websitenya create your style-nya Swarovski. Ini sich gue iseng2 aja, kali2 bisa ikutan mejeng..hehe..Alhamdulillah keterima. :-)

Belum ada yang baru lagi, selain bahwa gue masih berusaha mendisiplinkan diri dan ngebagi waktu dengan lebih baik. Masih banyak banget yang pengin gue kerjain. Mungkin gue akan memperbanyak aktifitas tulis menulis, gak tau, senang aja. Walaupun belum tentu orang senang bacanya...ha ha hah. :-)
Tapi liat aja, too much plan will(not) kill you..:-)
